My early paper mosaics where meant to mimic tile mosaics and my design considerations centered around giving these mosaics a contemporary feel while maintaining the traditional look of grout and tile mosaics. The "paper tiles" ranged in size from 1/16th inch square to 1 inch square and were assembled in a variety of patterns that evolved over the years.
