These dimentional cityscapes were an attempt to incorporate a variety of shapes and painting techniques into a bold new body of work. The funky cityscapes came first and were an attempt to break out of my box - both figuratively and literally, as my work has always been very linear and geometric. The dramatic cityscapes were developed during the time I was struggling over the decision to return to school to complete my doctorate degree in education.
